Authentic Singaporean Char Kway Teow
A beloved Singaporean stir-fried noodle dish with prawns, Chinese sausage, and eggs, infused with rich soy sauce flavors.

Ingredients
- 200 g rice noodles flat
- 100 g prawns peeled and deveined
- 1 sausage Chinese, sliced
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 100 g bean sprouts
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce dark
- 1 tablespoon chili paste optional
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 green onions chopped
- 1 lime cut into wedges
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Add the garlic and fry until fragrant.2 cloves garlic
- Add the Chinese sausage and cook for about 2 minutes.1 sausage
- Push the sausage to one side and add the prawns. Cook until they turn pink.100 g prawns
- Push the prawns and sausage to the side and pour the beaten eggs into the pan. Scramble them lightly.2 eggs
- Add the noodles to the pan, followed by the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and chili paste.200 g rice noodles, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon chili paste
- Stir-fry everything together until the noodles are well coated and heated through.
- Add the bean sprouts and green onions, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.100 g bean sprouts, 2 green onions
- Serve hot with lime wedges on the side.1 lime
