  • 1 cup water
  • Sugar or milk optional, to taste

Instructions
 

Grind the coffee beans:

  • Use a coffee grinder to grind 2 tablespoons of Colombian coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency for French press, or fine for espresso.

Heat the water:

  • Heat 1 cup of water to just below boiling (around 200°F or 93°C).

Brew the coffee:

  • For French press: Add the ground coffee to the French press, pour over the hot water, stir, and let steep for 4 minutes. Press the plunger down slowly.
  • For drip coffee maker: Add ground coffee to the filter, pour hot water over, and let it brew as per machine instructions.
  • For espresso machine: Add ground coffee to the portafilter, tamp down, and brew the espresso as per machine instructions.

Serve:

  • Pour the brewed coffee into a coffee mug. Add sugar or milk if desired.
