  • Turkish tea pot (caydanlık) or regular pot
  • Small tulip-shaped glasses

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 tablespoons black tea loose
  • 4 cups water
  • Sugar cubes optional

Instructions
 

  • Fill the bottom part of the Turkish tea pot with water and bring to a boil.
    4 cups water
  • Place loose black tea in the top part of the tea pot and pour some boiling water over it. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
    2 tablespoons black tea
  • Pour the steeped tea into each glass, filling about a third of the glass.
  • Top up each glass with boiling water to the desired strength.
  • Serve with sugar cubes if desired.
