"I'm 29 years old, living in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. I work as a marketing specialist for a tech startup, and every day is a blend of creativity and strategy, trying to make our product stand out in a crowded market. My journey into marketing wasn't straightforward; I studied journalism initially but found my passion for digital marketing after a couple of internships. Life is a mix of ups and downs. Recently got out of a long-term relationship, and it’s been tough, but focusing on work and hobbies helps a lot. My days are irregular. Sometimes I’m up early for meetings, other times I’m burning the midnight oil on a campaign. Mornings usually start with a cup of strong coffee and a quick breakfast, often banitsa, a traditional Bulgarian pastry with cheese. Weekends are my escape. I love hiking in the nearby Vitosha mountain or exploring hidden gems around the city. I love trying out new recipes and local cuisines wherever I travel. My job involves a lot of networking events, so I often get to taste a variety of foods. I have a soft spot for traditional Bulgarian dishes. Shopska salad is a must-have, especially in the summer – it's refreshing with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and feta cheese. After work, I enjoy a glass of Mavrud wine, one of Bulgaria’s finest, and unwind by watching a movie or reading a book. My colleagues and I often have lunch together, and our favorite spot is a small bistro nearby that serves the best moussaka in town. It's a comforting dish with layers of potatoes, minced meat, and a creamy béchamel sauce. My family is close-knit. My parents live in a small town outside Sofia, and I visit them whenever I can. They’re supportive of my career, though they worry about the long hours I put in. I have a younger sister who’s studying abroad, and we keep in touch through video calls. One of my all-time favorite local dishes is kavarma, a slow-cooked stew with pork, onions, peppers, and tomatoes, seasoned with savory spices. It’s hearty and reminds me of family dinners back home. I’m working towards a managerial position in the next couple of years, hoping to lead a team and bring innovative marketing strategies to life. It’s a challenging path, but I’m determined."
