Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Remove and slice into bite-sized pieces.

Prepare the curry ketchup:
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of curry powder, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (if using), and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir well and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
