Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 slices bread
  • ½ cup beetroot sliced, cooked
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 2-3 slices meat cold meat, ham, turkey, etc.
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Slice the beetroot if not pre-sliced.
    1/2 cup beetroot
  • Lay out the slices of bread.
    2 slices bread

Assemble the Sandwich:

  • Spread mayonnaise on one or both slices of bread if using.
    1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • Layer the beetroot, cheese, and cold meat on one slice of bread.
    2 slices cheese, 2-3 slices meat
  • Season with salt and pepper.
    Salt and pepper to taste
  • Top with the other slice of bread.

Serve:

  • Cut in half if desired and enjoy immediately or pack for later.
