  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup Pepperoni slices about 10 slices
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese Grated, optional
  • Basil leaves for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Layer the Ingredients:

  • Spread marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of an oven-safe skillet or small baking dish.

  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the sauce for added flavor.
    1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Spread shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, creating an even layer.
    1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Add pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, spacing them evenly. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan if desired for extra flavor.
    1/4 cup Pepperoni slices, 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese

Bake and Serve:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
  • Carefully remove from the oven with oven mitts. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and serve hot.
