Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 pound meat beef, lamb, or chicken (marinated)
  • 4 flatbreads or pita bread
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes sliced
  • ½ cup cucumbers sliced
  • ½ cup red onions sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions
 

Marinate the meat:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the meat with salt, pepper, and any additional preferred spices. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Cook the meat:

  • Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Cook the marinated meat until browned and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.

Prepare the sauce:

  • In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of yogurt, 2 tablespoons of tahini, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the doner kebab:

  • Lay out the flatbreads and top each with cooked meat, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, and chopped parsley. Drizzle with the yogurt-tahini sauce.

  • Roll up the flatbreads and serve warm.
