Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup water warm
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • pepperoni Assorted toppings (bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, etc.)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar. In another bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
    2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon active dry yeast, 3/4 cup water
  • Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Knead until a dough forms.

  • Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough.

  • Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese and add your desired toppings.
    1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, pepperoni
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses and toppings to customize your pizza.
For a crispier crust, bake the pizza on a preheated pizza stone.
