Ingredients
 
 

  • 1 large English cucumber
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese whipped (herb and garlic flavored preferred)
  • 5 oz smoked salmon
  • ¼ cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh dill chopped
  • ½ avocado optional
  • 1 teaspoon Everything Bagel seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • MSG optional

Instructions
 

  • Slice the Cucumber: Using a mandoline or sharp knife, thinly slice the entire cucumber into approximately 1/8-inch thick slices.

Layer Ingredients: In a large deli container or glass jar, start layering:

  • Add the sliced cucumber at the bottom.
    1 large English cucumber
  • Layer the thinly sliced red onion.
    1/4 cup red onion
  • Spread a generous layer of whipped cream cheese.
    4 tablespoons cream cheese
  • Tear or roughly chop the smoked salmon and add it to the container.
    5 oz smoked salmon
  • Sprinkle in the capers and chopped fresh dill.
    1 tablespoon capers, 1 tablespoon Fresh dill
  • Add chunks of avocado if using.
    1/2 avocado
  • Season: Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and MSG (if using).
    Salt and pepper to taste, MSG
  • Add Bagel Seasoning: Sprinkle a generous amount of Everything Bagel seasoning over the top.
    1 teaspoon Everything Bagel seasoning
  • Shake to Mix: Secure the lid on the container and shake vigorously until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Serve: The salad is ready to eat immediately. Enjoy it directly from the container or transfer to a bowl.

Notes

Customization: Feel free to add other ingredients like cherry tomatoes, radishes, or even a handful of leafy greens.
Onion Flavor: If the onion flavor is too strong, soak the sliced onion in cold water for 5 minutes to mellow its taste.
Storage: This salad is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to a day. Add the Everything Bagel seasoning just before eating to maintain its crunch.
