Authentic Pão de Queijo Recipe
Traditional Brazilian cheese bread that is crispy on the outside and soft and cheesy on the inside, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients
- 2 cups tapioca flour
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
Prepare the batter:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, water, vegetable oil, and salt. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.1 cup milk, 1/2 cup water, 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 tsp salt
Mix the ingredients:
- In a mixing bowl, add the tapioca flour. Pour the hot milk mixture over the flour, stirring continuously until smooth.2 cups tapioca flour

- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly until the batter is smooth and well combined.2 large eggs
Bake the Pão de Queijo:
- Grease a muffin tin or mini muffin tin. Fill each cup about 3/4 full with the batter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and puffed.
Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Pão de Queijo can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
