Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Favorite Vegan Pizza

- Rolling pin (if using dough)

Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough vegan, store-bought or homemade
- ½ cup tomato sauce adjust based on preference
- 1 cup vegan cheese shredded mozzarella or a blend
- ½ cup mushrooms sliced
- ½ bell pepper thinly sliced (any color)
- ¼ red onion thinly sliced
- ¼ cup black olives sliced
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- fresh arugula cherry tomatoes, or a sprinkle of nutritional yeast for extra flavor, Optional topping
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat as well.
Prepare the Dough:
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or a pizza stone if available.1 lb pizza dough
Assemble the Pizza:
- Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.1/2 cup tomato sauce
- Sprinkle the vegan cheese evenly over the sauce.1 cup vegan cheese
- Add your chosen toppings: arrange the mushrooms, bell peppers, red onion, and olives over the cheese.1/2 cup mushrooms, 1/2 bell pepper, 1/4 red onion, 1/4 cup black olives
- Season with dried oregano, basil, and a light sprinkle of salt and pepper.1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp dried basil, Salt and pepper to taste
Bake the Pizza:
- Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy, and the vegan cheese has melted.
Serve and Enjoy:
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Slice with a pizza cutter, add any extra toppings (like fresh arugula or nutritional yeast), and enjoy!fresh arugula
