Authentic Korean Bibimbap Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup spinach blanched
- 1 carrot julienned
- 1 zucchini julienned
- ½ cup bean sprouts blanched
- ½ lb ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons gochujang Korean red chili paste
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ground beef, cooking until browned. Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper.1/2 lb ground beef, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 teaspoon garlic, Salt and pepper to taste
- In the same pan, stir-fry the carrots and zucchini separately until tender. Season with a pinch of salt.1 carrot, 1 zucchini
- Blanch spinach and bean sprouts in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Drain and season with a little sesame oil and salt.1 cup spinach, 1/2 cup bean sprouts, 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Fry the eggs sunny side up.2 eggs
- To assemble, divide the cooked rice into two bowls. Arrange the vegetables and beef on top of the rice.2 cups cooked rice
- Place a fried egg on top of each bowl and drizzle with gochujang.2 tablespoons gochujang
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.Sesame seeds
