  • 2 tablespoons coffee Turkish, finely ground
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons sugar optional
  • Turkish delight for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a Turkish coffee pot, combine finely ground coffee, water, and sugar if using. Stir to mix.
    2 tablespoons coffee, 2 cups water, 2 teaspoons sugar
  • Place the pot over low heat and slowly bring to a simmer. Do not stir once the coffee starts heating.
  • As the coffee begins to froth and rise, remove it from the heat just before it boils. Let the froth settle and then return to the heat. Repeat this process twice.
  • Pour the coffee into small cups, ensuring an even distribution of the froth.
  • Serve immediately with a side of Turkish delight.
