
Creamy Parmesan Risotto Recipe
Equipment

Ingredients
- 1 cup Arborio rice
 - 1 small onion finely chopped
 - 2 cloves garlic minced
 - ½ cup white wine optional
 - 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth, warmed
 - 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
 - Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Prepare the Base:
- In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.2 tablespoons olive oil

Cook the Rice:
- Add the Arborio rice to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until the rice is lightly toasted.1 cup Arborio rice
 - Pour in the white wine (if using) and cook until the liquid is absorbed.1/2 cup white wine
 
Add Broth:
- Gradually add the warmed broth, one ladle at a time, stirring frequently. Wait until the liquid is mostly absorbed before adding more broth.4 cups chicken
 - Continue this process until the rice is creamy and cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.
 
Finish the Risotto:
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.1 cup Parmesan cheese, Salt and pepper to taste

Serve:
- Serve the risotto hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
