Indulgent Homemade Big Mac-Inspired Burger

Ingredients
For the Burger Patties:
- ½ lb ground beef 80% lean for juiciness

For the Special Sauce:
- ¼ cup mayonnaise

- ½ teaspoon white vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder

- 2 sesame seed burger buns split and toasted
- 2 slices American cheese
- ½ cup iceberg lettuce shredded
- 5 slices dill pickle slices
- ¼ cup onion finely diced
Instructions
Prepare the Special Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, vinegar, onion powder, and garlic powder until smooth. Add salt to taste. Shape and Season the Patties:

Cook the Patties:
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned and cooked through. Place a slice of American cheese on two of the patties in the last minute of cooking to let it melt.2 slices American cheese

- Spread a layer of special sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Add shredded lettuce, a few pickle slices, and some diced onions. Place a plain patty on top, followed by the cheeseburger patty.
