Jasmine Tea Soothing Floral Tea
Equipment
- Kettle
- Teapot or teacup
- Tea strainer (if using loose leaf tea)
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon tea Jasmine Tea Leaves or 1 jasmine tea bag
- 1 cup water hot (approximately 175°F or 80°C)
Instructions
Boil Water:
- Heat water to around 175°F (80°C). If you don’t have a thermometer, let the water come to a boil, then let it cool for a minute or two before using.1 cup water
Add Tea Leaves:
- Place 1 teaspoon of jasmine tea leaves (or 1 jasmine tea bag) into your teapot or cup.1 teaspoon tea
Pour Water:
- Pour the hot water over the tea leaves. If using a tea bag, simply add the bag to your cup.
Steep the Tea:
- Allow the tea to steep for 2-3 minutes. Jasmine tea has a delicate flavor, and over-steeping can make it bitter.
Serve:
- Remove the tea leaves or tea bag. Enjoy your cup of warm, fragrant jasmine tea.
Notes
You can enjoy jasmine tea on its own or pair it with light snacks, such as a small slice of chocolate cake for a perfect balance between bitter and sweet.
