  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Ketchup optional
  • mustard optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Fries:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Cut the potatoes into thin strips.

  • Toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  • Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.

Prepare the Burgers:

  • While the fries are baking, divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Add cheese slices on top during the last minute of cooking.
