Ingredients
- 1 lb pork belly
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 buns bao, store-bought or homemade
- Fresh cilantro chopped
- cucumber Sliced
- carrots Pickled
- daikon Pickled
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

- Rub the mixture all over the pork belly.1 lb pork belly
- Place the pork belly in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 2 hours until tender.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Steam the bao buns according to the package instructions.8 buns

- Serve immediately.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, use marinated tofu instead of pork belly.
