Quick & Nutritious Pork Stir-fry Recipe
A quick and fulfilling dinner of stir-fried vegetables, rice, and pork, perfect after a long day of training.
Equipment
- Wok or large skillet
- Rice cooker or saucepan
Ingredients
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ½ lb pork tenderloin thinly sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 carrot julienned
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook jasmine rice according to package instructions.1 cup jasmine rice
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Add pork slices and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.1/2 lb pork tenderloin
- In the same wok, add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.2 cloves garlic
- Add broccoli, bell pepper, and carrot. Stir-fry for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.1 cup broccoli florets, 1 red bell pepper, 1 carrot
- Return the pork to the wok. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, Salt and pepper to taste
- Serve the stir-fried pork and vegetables over jasmine rice, garnished with sliced green onions.Green onions
