  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Mix Dry Ingredients:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Combine Wet Ingredients:

  • In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
    2 cups buttermilk, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Make Batter:

  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. The batter should be slightly lumpy.

Cook Pancakes:

  • Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.
    1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle for each pancake.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes more.

Serve:

Notes
