Ingredients
 
 

  • 6 large potatoes peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 1 large onion thinly sliced
  • 2 oz anchovy fillets drained and chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a frying pan, melt the butter and sauté the sliced onion until soft and translucent.

  • In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream and milk. Pour over the potato mixture.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.
