Renée Zellweger’s Signature Green Juice
Equipment
- High-speed blender or juicer
- Fine mesh strainer (if needed)
- Knife and cutting board
- Glass or bottle for serving
Ingredients
- 1 cup kale leaves packed (stems removed), fresh
- 1 cup spinach packed, fresh
- ½ cucumber chopped
- 1 green apple chopped (optional for sweetness)
- ½ lemon juiced
- ½ inch fresh ginger peeled and chopped
- ¼ cup celery stalks chopped
- ½ cup coconut water for blending, or filtered water
- Ice cubes optional, for serving
Instructions
Prepare Ingredients:
- Rinse all produce thoroughly. Remove stems from the kale and roughly chop the cucumber, celery, and green apple (if using).1 cup kale leaves, 1/2 cucumber, 1 green apple
Blend Ingredients:
- In a high-speed blender, combine the kale, spinach, cucumber, green apple, lemon juice, ginger, celery, and coconut water. Blend on high until smooth.1 cup spinach, 1/2 lemon, 1/2 inch fresh ginger, 1/4 cup celery stalks, 1/2 cup coconut water
Strain the Juice (Optional):
- For a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the pulp. Use a spoon to press down and extract as much juice as possible.
Serve and Enjoy:
- Pour the juice into a glass over ice (if desired) and enjoy immediately for the freshest taste.Ice cubes
Notes
Adjust for Texture: If you prefer a thicker smoothie consistency, reduce the amount of water and skip the straining step.
Storage: Green juice is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours in an airtight container.
