"I'm Luca, a 34-year-old architect based in Milan. My days are usually a filled with site visits, client meetings, and endless sketches. Architecture has been my passion since I was a kid, building Lego skyscrapers on the floor of our small apartment in Rome. Life has its ups and downs, but right now, things are stable. I recently finished a major project - a modern office building in the heart of the city. It was a grueling process, but seeing it come to life made all the stress worth it. I’ve been through some tough times, especially after my last serious relationship ended a couple of years ago. We were together for five years, but eventually, our paths diverged. It was painful, but I've learned to focus on my career and personal growth since then. I’m single now, and honestly, I’m enjoying the freedom to dedicate myself fully to my work and hobbies. Mornings start early with a strong espresso and a cornetto from my favorite bakery down the street. I love the energy of Milan in the morning - it's like the city wakes up with me. Lunchtime is a bit of a rush, often grabbing a quick panini or some fresh pasta from a nearby deli. Evenings are when I try to slow down. I enjoy cooking, especially traditional Italian dishes like risotto alla Milanese or a simple spaghetti aglio e olio. It’s my way of unwinding after a hectic day. I’m very close to my family. My parents still live in Rome, and I visit them whenever I can. My mom’s lasagna is legendary, and it’s one of the things I miss most about home. My sister lives in Naples, and we chat often, sharing stories about our lives and laughing over childhood memories. Architecture is demanding, each project is a new challenge, a puzzle that needs solving. I love the blend of creativity and practicality it requires. My goal is to design buildings that not only look good but also make people's lives better. Weekends are my time to explore. Milan has so much to offer, from its vibrant art scene to hidden culinary gems. There’s a tiny trattoria I discovered recently that makes the best ossobuco. It’s become my go-to spot for comfort food. My favorite local dish has to be cotoletta alla Milanese. It's a simple breaded veal cutlet, but when done right, it’s absolutely delicious. There’s something about the crispy exterior and tender meat inside that just hits the spot. I try to balance indulgence with a healthy lifestyle. I run regularly and practice yoga to keep fit. I’m excited about the future. There are several projects in the pipeline, and I’m eager to see where they take me."
